Pedestrian Injured in Traffic Incident at 9th St and Auraria Pkwy

DENVER, CO 3/22/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in Denver’s Auraria neighborhood, reported on March 22, 2025, at 2:22 PM. The incident took place on the roadway at the intersection of 9th St and Auraria Pkwy, approximately half a mile west of Speer Blvd. A southbound passenger car, making a left turn, failed to yield the right of way, resulting in the pedestrian being injured. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Despite the dark but lighted conditions at the time, the driver showed no apparent contributing factors to the incident. This is one of 140 similar incidents reported in the Auraria neighborhood over the past year.
