Early Morning Collision in Capitol Hill Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 7/13/2025. On July 13, 2025, at 3:19 AM, a traffic incident was reported in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, resulting in one serious injury. The collision occurred approximately 0.2 miles east of the major intersection at E 12th Ave and N Downing St. The crash involved two passenger vehicles, one traveling north and the other east, both going straight when they collided front-to-side at the intersection. Despite the severity of the crash, no fatalities were reported, and there were no apparent contributing factors from either driver involved. This incident adds to the 413 other reported incidents in the Capitol Hill area since July 14, 2024.
