Careless Driving Leads to Serious Injury in Denver’s Speer Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 7/11/2025. On July 11, 2025, at 12:13 PM MT, a traffic incident with serious injury was reported in the Speer neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred in the 700 block of E 2nd Ave, approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection of E 1st Ave and N Broadway. An SUV traveling west collided front to side with a parked passenger car, resulting in the SUV overturning. The careless driving of the SUV was identified as a contributing factor, leading to one serious injury. No fatalities were reported. This adds to the 318 incidents reported in this area over the past year.
