DENVER, CO 2/18/2025. On February 18, 2025, at 1:36 AM, a traffic incident with serious injury was reported in the North Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred on N Monaco St, approximately 0.2 miles north of E MLK Blvd. A passenger car traveling north lost control in icy conditions, striking a curb and then a tree on the center median/island. The light conditions were reported as dawn or dusk at the time of the incident. One individual sustained serious injuries, but no fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 103rd traffic-related occurrence in North Park Hill since February 19, 2024.
