Motorcycle Accident on I-25 Near Hampden Ave Results in Serious Injury

A serious motorcycle accident was reported on September 14, 2024, at 7:38 AM on northbound I-25, approximately half a mile north of E Hampden Ave in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which involved a motorcycle and a passenger car, occurred when both vehicles swerved to avoid each other, causing the motorcycle to run off the right side of the road. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, while the driver of the passenger car was uninjured. No fatalities were reported. This is the 403rd incident in the Hampden South neighborhood since September 14, 2023.
