Motorcycle and Bus Collision Reported at Blake and Downing Intersection

DENVER, CO 7/4/2025. A motorcycle accident was reported on July 4, 2025, at 7:15 AM in the Five Points neighborhood, Denver. The incident occurred at the intersection of Blake St and N Downing St, 1 mile southwest of the major cross streets 20th Ave and N Downing St. The accident involved a motorcycle traveling south and a transit bus making a left turn while heading east. The motorcycle was reported to have been passing when the collision occurred. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities noted careless and aggressive driving on the part of the motorcyclist. This marks one of 624 incidents reported in the Five Points neighborhood since July 4, 2024.
