Motorcycle Accident on I-25 Northbound Near South Downing Street Results in Serious Injury

A serious traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car was reported at 7:32 AM on September 14, 2024, on the northbound lanes of I-25 near South Downing Street in the Washington Park West neighborhood. The collision, which occurred approximately half a mile north of the intersection, resulted in a serious injury to the motorcyclist. The event sequence included a front-to-side and front-to-rear collision. Police cited driver inexperience as a contributing factor for the motorcyclist, who was reported to be driving carelessly. No fatalities were reported.
