Motorcycle Accident on I-70 Results in Serious Injury Near Elyria Swansea

DENVER, CO 12/7/2024. On December 7, 2024, at 4:12 AM, a traffic incident involving a motorcycle occurred on I-70 Eastbound near North Clayton Street in Denver’s Elyria Swansea neighborhood. Approximately 0.5 miles west of the major cross streets of I-70 and Colorado Boulevard, the accident was initiated when a passenger car changing lanes rear-ended a motorcycle, causing its rider to fall. The automobile driver’s careless action of not seeing the motorcyclist contributed to the collision, resulting in one serious injury. Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported.
