DENVER, CO 12/21/2024. On December 21, 2024, at 7:58 AM Mountain time, a motorcycle crash was reported at the intersection of E Hampden Ave and S Forest St in Denver’s Southmoor Park neighborhood. The accident involved a westbound motorcyclist and a passenger car traveling in the same direction. The motorcyclist, who was reported to be seriously injured, was involved in a sequence of collisions described as both front-to-rear and front-to-side impacts. Both vehicles were going straight at the time of the incident. Despite careless driving being noted as an action for the motorcyclist, there was no apparent contributing factor reported. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported in this accident, which adds to the 110 other incidents reported in the Southmoor Park area since late 2023.
