SUV and Passenger Car Crash in Denver Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 12/18/2024. A traffic incident involving an SUV and a passenger car at the intersection of North Milwaukee Street and East 49th Avenue in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver resulted in one serious injury. The crash occurred in a dark, lighted area at 2:57 PM Mountain time on December 18, 2024. The SUV, traveling east, reportedly failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a front-to-side collision with a southbound passenger car, which also struck a fence. While the incident caused no fatalities, this marks one of 339 reported incidents in the neighborhood over the past year.
