DENVER, CO 9/14/2025. A traffic incident was reported at 12:43 AM on September 14, 2025, involving a pickup truck that ran off the right side of the road and collided with a light pole on the 3200 block of W Kentucky Ave in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred approximately 0.5 miles northwest of the major intersection at W Kentucky Ave and Federal Blvd. The truck, traveling east, was reportedly going straight when the driver engaged in careless driving, leading to the collision. One individual was seriously injured, with no fatalities reported. This incident adds to the 314 others reported in Westwood since the same date last year.
