DENVER, CO 1/17/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at 1:36 AM on January 17, 2025, at the intersection of West 11th Avenue and North Speer Boulevard, approximately 0.5 miles southwest of the main Civic Center area. The incident occurred on the roadway and involved a pedestrian reportedly failing to obey traffic signs or signals, resulting in a collision with a southbound passenger car. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities occurred. This incident marks the 286th reported in the Civic Center neighborhood since January 17, 2024.
