Pedestrian Involved in Early Morning Traffic Incident on Market St

DENVER, CO 12/26/2024. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at 10:17 AM on December 26, 2024, on the 1600 block of Market Street in the Union Station neighborhood of Denver. The event involved a northeast traveling passenger car that collided with a pedestrian under dark but lighted conditions. The vehicle’s movement was described as going straight, with the driver’s action noted as careless driving due to a medical factor. Another vehicle, a passenger car, was parked at the location. The incident occurred on a non-intersection roadway, and no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Since December 26, 2023, there have been 279 reported incidents in the Union Station area.
