Pedestrian Struck at Denver Intersection; No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 12/3/2024. On December 3, 2024, at approximately 8:20 AM Mountain time, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Virginia Avenue and South Corona Downing Alley in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred as a passenger car, traveling south and making a left turn, collided with a pedestrian entering the intersection. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly careless, having looked but not seen the pedestrian. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks yet another incident in the area, as there have been 236 other reported traffic incidents in the Washington Park West neighborhood since December 4, 2023.
