Pedestrian Struck by SUV at Capitol Hill Intersection, No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 12/16/2024. On December 16, 2024, at 8:21 AM, an incident involving a pedestrian and an SUV was reported at the intersection of E 13th Ave and N Emerson St in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The pedestrian was reportedly crossing or entering at the intersection when struck by the southbound SUV, which was making a right turn and failed to yield the right of way. The incident occurred on the roadway at the intersection, but fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This adds to the 395 incidents reported in the Capitol Hill neighborhood since December 19, 2023.
