Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at N Broadway St and E 12th Ave in Early Morning Incident

On August 14, 2024, at 3:19 AM MT, a pedestrian was struck by a passenger car making a left turn at the intersection of N Broadway St and E 12th Ave in Denver’s Civic Center neighborhood. The driver of the vehicle, which was traveling east, failed to yield the right of way due to exterior distraction. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 230th reported traffic issue in the Civic Center area since October 31, 2023.
