DENVER, CO 12/23/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Denver on December 23, 2025, at 5:30 AM MT. The incident occurred in a parking lot located approximately 200 feet northeast of the intersection of 10th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. A pickup truck or utility van, traveling west and engaged in improper backing, struck a pedestrian. The driver reported overlooking the pedestrian, leading to the collision. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities. This marks the 171st traffic-related incident in Sun Valley since January 4 of this year.
