DENVER, CO 5/28/2025. A traffic incident was reported on May 28, 2025, at 3:03 PM in Denver’s University neighborhood, possibly involving driving under the influence. The incident occurred on E Evans Ave, east of its intersection with S High St, at a distance of approximately 0.5 miles. A pickup truck, traveling east and reportedly engaging in careless driving, collided front to rear with a stopped passenger car. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported, although road conditions were wet and visibility was affected by the dark but lighted surroundings. This marks the 154th reported incident in the area since May 29, 2024.
