DENVER, CO 10/2/2025. On October 2, 2025, at 9:25 PM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported at 2760 W Amherst Ave in the College View – South Platte neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car traveling west that struck a curb, a fence, and ultimately, a wall. The location is approximately one mile south of the intersection of S Federal Blvd and W Evans Ave. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Investigators are currently examining the incident for potential involvement of driving under the influence. This marks the 168th traffic-related occurrence in the area since October 2, 2024.
