Possible DUI Incident Reported in Westwood Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 11/30/2024. A traffic incident possibly involving driving under the influence was reported in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood on November 30, 2024, at 4:08 PM Mountain Time. The collision occurred on the roadway at the intersection near 655 S Stuart St, approximately 0.5 miles southwest of the major cross streets of S Sheridan Blvd and W Exposition Ave. In the incident, a passenger car traveling west collided front-to-front with a pickup truck that was stopped in traffic and facing east. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or serious injuries reported. The driver of the passenger car was cited for careless driving, suggesting potential impairment. This marks the 317th incident reported in the Westwood neighborhood since the same date last year.
