Possible DUI Incident Reported on West Colfax

DENVER, CO 9/29/2025. A traffic incident possibly involving driving under the influence was reported on September 29, 2025, at 8:45 PM in Denver’s West Colfax neighborhood. The incident occurred at the 3700 block of West Colfax Avenue, approximately half a mile west of the intersection with Federal Boulevard. The event involved a passenger car moving westbound, which ended up in a ditch at the center median/island in a non-intersection area. Authorities have noted that careless driving might have contributed to the situation. Despite the lighted conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks one of 223 such incidents in the neighborhood since October 1, 2024.
