Possible DUI Involved in Early Morning Collision on S Yosemite St

DENVER, CO 12/3/2024. A traffic incident, possibly involving driving under the influence, was reported at 1:05 AM MT on December 3, 2024, along the 4600 block of S Yosemite St in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood. The collision occurred approximately half a mile south of the major cross streets Hampden Avenue and Yosemite Street. The crash involved a passenger car and an SUV, both traveling south. The passenger car, reportedly in the process of careless and aggressive driving, rear-ended the slowing SUV. The incident led to one person being seriously injured, with no fatalities reported. This incident adds to the 419 other traffic incidents reported in the neighborhood over the past year.
