Possible DUI Incident Reported on Hooker Street in West Colfax

DENVER, CO 6/30/2025. A possible Driving under the Influence incident was reported in Denver’s West Colfax neighborhood on June 30, 2025, at 12:02 AM. The collision occurred on the 1600 block of North Hooker Street, about a mile north of the intersection with Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard. The sequence of harmful events included front-to-rear and front-to-front impacts between a moving passenger car and a parked vehicle. Despite the careless driving observed, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported at the scene, which was described as dark but lighted. Authorities are investigating a possible involvement of driving under the influence.
