Pre-Dawn Pedestrian Incident at Hilltop Intersection, No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 10/21/2024. In the early hours of October 21, 2024, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of N Colorado Albion Aly and E 2nd Ave in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood. The incident was reported at 4:59 AM Mountain time. The pedestrian, who was traveling against traffic in or adjacent to the travel lane, interacted with an eastbound passenger vehicle making a right turn. Despite the wet road conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The site is approximately 500 feet northwest of the intersection of Colorado Blvd and 1st Ave, highlighting ongoing safety concerns in an area that has seen 157 incidents since November 2023.
