DENVER, CO 5/31/2025. A traffic incident resulting in a serious injury was reported at the intersection of E GVR Blvd and Pena Blvd in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver at 9:20 PM on May 31, 2025. The collision occurred when a northbound pickup truck making a left turn failed to yield the right of way to a westbound passenger car traveling straight. The incident took place approximately 0.5 miles northeast of the E GVR Blvd and Tower Rd cross streets. Despite the dark but lighted conditions, there were no apparent contributing factors from the drivers. No fatalities were reported, but one occupant of the passenger car sustained a serious injury.
