DENVER, CO 5/24/2025. A traffic incident resulting in a serious injury was reported on May 24, 2025, at 5:19 PM in Denver’s North Capitol Hill neighborhood. The collision occurred approximately one block east of the intersection of North Grant Street and East 18th Avenue. A passenger car, making a left turn traveling west, crashed side-to-side with a westbound pickup truck traveling straight. The passenger car’s improper turn, attributed to driver distraction, led to one serious injury. The road was wet, and although it was dark, the area was lighted. This incident adds to the 218 traffic-related reports in the neighborhood over the past year.
