Traffic Collision on I-25 Southbound Leaves One Seriously Injured in Highland

DENVER, CO 6/15/2025. A traffic incident was reported at 11:10 AM on June 15, 2025, involving two passenger vehicles on I-25 Southbound, approximately 0.5 miles south of the 20th Street exit in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which occurred on a non-intersection roadway, involved a southbound vehicle following too closely and striking another vehicle that was stopped in traffic. The first vehicle, operated by an inexperienced driver, caused a front-to-rear impact, resulting in one serious injury. This is the 302nd incident reported in this area since June 15, 2024.
