DENVER, CO 1/21/2025. On January 21, 2025, at 9:48 PM, a traffic incident occurred at the intersection of Curtis Street and 18th Street in Denver’s Central Business District (CBD). The collision, which involved two passenger vehicles, happened approximately 0.5 miles southeast of the intersection of Curtis Street and 20th Street. The accident took place under wet road conditions in a dark, lighted environment. One vehicle traveling west failed to stop at a signal and collided front-to-side with another heading north. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, but authorities suspect that the accident might involve Driving under the Influence. This adds to the 274 incidents reported in the CBD neighborhood since January 22, 2024.
