DENVER, CO 5/25/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian and an SUV was reported on May 25, 2025, at 6:46 PM in Denver’s Cheesman Park neighborhood. The accident occurred on a wet roadway, about 0.1 miles west of the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Gaylord Street, under dark but lit conditions. The pedestrian was struck by an SUV traveling east while crossing the road at a non-intersection point. Fortunately, the incident resulted in no serious injuries or fatalities. Despite this being the 192nd traffic incident reported in this neighborhood since May 26, 2024, there were no apparent contributing factors from the SUV driver.
