Pedestrian Struck by SUV at Downtown Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 1/28/2025. On January 28, 2025, at 12:22 PM, a pedestrian was struck by an SUV at the intersection of Walnut Street and North Broadway Street in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. The SUV, traveling north, was making a left turn when the incident occurred. Despite the presence of street lighting, the driver reported not seeing the pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing legally at the intersection, and fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 602nd traffic incident in the Five Points neighborhood since January 28, 2024.
