Serious Injury Reported in Two-SUV Collision at Quincy Ave Intersection

DENVER, CO 3/8/2025. On March 8, 2025, at approximately 11:42 AM MT, a serious traffic incident involving two SUVs occurred at the intersection of E Quincy Ave and S Tamarac St in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. The collision happened less than a half-mile northwest of the major cross streets of E Quincy Ave and S Tamarac St. According to reports, the first SUV, traveling south and attempting a left turn, failed to yield the right of way due to driver inexperience, leading to a front-to-side impact with the second SUV continuing straight south. The crash resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries, though no fatalities were reported. This incident marks one of the 400 traffic-related incidents in Hampden South since March 10, 2024.
