Serious Injury Reported in Montbello Intersection Collision

DENVER, CO 7/9/2025. A traffic incident resulting in serious injury was reported at 5:44 AM on July 9, 2025, at the intersection of E 51st Ave and N Peoria St in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver. The crash involved a pickup truck or utility van traveling west and a passenger car or van traveling north. Both vehicles were proceeding straight through the intersection when they collided front to side. The passenger car’s occupant sustained serious injuries while there were no fatalities reported. This incident marks the 477th traffic event in Montbello since July 13, 2024.
