DENVER, CO 8/28/2025. A serious traffic incident involving a passenger car and a parked pickup truck was reported on August 28, 2025, at 5:10 AM on the 14500 block of E 52nd Avenue, approximately 0.5 miles east of the major cross streets of Chambers Road and E 52nd Avenue in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway in a non-intersection area and resulted in one serious injury. The passenger car was traveling west and collided side to side in the same direction with the parked truck. Both drivers were reported to have no contributing actions or apparent contributing factors in the accident. This incident marks the 476th reported traffic incident in the Montbello neighborhood since August 28, 2024.
