Motorcyclists Seriously Injured in Collision at West Colfax Intersection

DENVER, CO 8/15/2025. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 12:07 PM MT, a motorcycle was involved in a serious collision at the intersection of W 17th Ave and N Federal Blvd in the West Colfax neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred on the roadway at the intersection, about three miles northwest of downtown Denver. A passenger car, traveling south and making a left turn, failed to yield the right of way and collided front to side with a northbound motorcycle going straight. As a result, two individuals on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries. This incident adds to the 227 incidents reported in the West Colfax neighborhood since August 15, 2024, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported in this crash.
