Potential DUI Incident Reported in Belcaro Leaves No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 9/7/2025. On September 7, 2025, at 5:20 PM, a traffic incident was reported near 865 S St. Paul St, approximately 0.3 miles south of the intersection of South University Boulevard and East Exposition Avenue in Denver’s Belcaro neighborhood. The collision involved two SUVs, with one driven by a northbound motorist exhibiting careless driving while reportedly emotionally upset. The second vehicle was parked on the roadway. The crash sequence involved a side-to-side opposite direction impact, striking a curb before repeating the same type of collision. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, and the authorities are investigating the possibility of driving under the influence as a contributing factor. This incident marks the 124th reported in the Belcaro area since September 11, 2024.
