Possible DUI Involved in Hampden South Intersection Crash

DENVER, CO 10/10/2025. A traffic incident potentially involving Driving under the Influence was reported at 11:40 PM on October 10, 2025, in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred at the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and Interstate 25 Highway Northbound, approximately 0.1 miles east and north of the main junction. The crash involved a passenger car traveling east, which reportedly failed to stop at a signal, resulting in a front-to-side impact with a northbound van making a left turn. The incident escalated into an overturning/rollover scenario but fortunately resulted in no serious injuries or fatalities. Authorities are investigating the cause, as this adds to the 440 incidents reported in the same neighborhood over the past year.
