Pedestrian Struck by Truck at Five Points Intersection

DENVER, CO 12/6/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver on December 6, 2025, at 10:47 AM. The accident occurred on the roadway at the intersection of 22nd Street and Lawrence Street, approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the intersection with Park Avenue West and approximately 0.4 miles northeast of Coors Field. The pedestrian was injured when they darted across the road as a medium/heavy truck, weighing over 16,001 GVWR, was making a right turn eastward. Despite the lighted conditions, the pedestrian’s sudden movement led to the incident, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 710th reported traffic-related incident in the Five Points neighborhood since December 6, 2024.
