Possible DUI Involved in Traffic Incident on South St Paul Street in Denver

DENVER, CO 1/1/2026. A traffic incident potentially involving driving under the influence was reported on January 1, 2026, at 7:45 PM in the 2000 block of South St Paul Street in the University Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision, which occurred approximately 0.5 miles southwest of the intersection at Evans Avenue and St Paul Street, involved two passenger vehicles traveling south. The first vehicle, in motion, veered in an attempt to avoid an obstacle, leading to a side-to-side collision with a second parked vehicle. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported from the incident, which took place on a dark, unlighted roadway, and is one of 118 such incidents in the neighborhood since January 2025.
