Bicycle and Car Collision at Colfax and Emerson in Denver

DENVER, CO 7/11/2025. A traffic incident involving a bicycle and a passenger car was reported in North Capitol Hill, Denver, on July 11, 2025, at 5:08 PM Mountain Time. The collision occurred at the intersection of N. Emerson St. and E. Colfax Ave., about 0.1 miles southeast of the cross streets. The incident happened in dark but well-lit conditions and involved the failure of the cyclist to yield the right-of-way. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported in this collision, which is the 228th such incident in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood since July 11, 2024.
