DENVER, CO 12/9/2025. On December 9, 2025, at 10:39 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a bicycle and a passenger car was reported on the 1000 block of E 12th Ave in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred in a non-intersection, dark-lighted area approximately 1 block east of the major cross streets of E 12th Ave and N Humboldt St. According to reports, the car was entering or leaving a parked position when the driver failed to yield the right of way, contributing to a collision with a cyclist traveling along the roadway with traffic. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities. This incident adds to the 475 other reported traffic incidents in the Capitol Hill area over the past year.
