Bicycle and SUV Involved in Traffic Incident on E 31st Ave and N Williams High Aly

DENVER, CO 8/20/2025. A traffic incident involving a bicycle and an SUV was reported in Denver at the intersection of E 31st Ave and N Williams High Aly on August 20, 2025, at 4:24 PM. The incident occurred in the Whittier neighborhood and involved the bicycle traveling along the roadway against traffic in the travel lane, while the SUV was moving east and going straight. The road was described as dark yet lighted, and no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Since August 23, 2024, there have been 85 incidents in the Whittier neighborhood.
