DENVER, CO 1/10/2026. On January 10, 2026, at approximately 8:05 AM, a traffic incident involving a bicyclist and a passenger car was reported near the intersection of W Florida Avenue and S Platte River Drive in the Overland neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred approximately 200 feet east of these major cross streets and was intersection-related. The incident involved a passenger car making a right turn while traveling eastbound, during which the driver failed to yield the right of way to a bicyclist. Although there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, the incident contributes to the 238 reported traffic incidents in the Overland area since January 10, 2025.
