Careless Driving Incident in Goldsmith Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 12/24/2025. On December 24, 2025, at approximately 9:48 AM, a traffic incident involving a pickup truck/utility van was reported in the Goldsmith neighborhood of Denver. The vehicle, traveling south and making a left turn, reportedly collided with a wall or building located on private property at 5200 E Evans Ave, situated roughly 0.8 miles east of the South Colorado Boulevard and East Evans Avenue intersection. The driver was said to be hindered by sun glare, resulting in careless driving that led to the vehicle going into a ditch. The incident occurred during dawn or dusk light conditions and resulted in one serious injury. No fatalities were reported.
