Careless Driving Leads to Serious Injury in Hampden South

DENVER, CO 8/6/2025. A serious traffic incident was reported on August 6, 2025, at 9:53 PM in the 8000 block of E Hampden Ave, approximately 1.2 miles east of the intersection with S Monaco Parkway, in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car heading west ran off the right side of the road, struck a curb, and overturned in a dark-lighted non-intersection area. The driver, exhibiting careless and aggressive driving behavior, caused the rollover crash, resulting in serious injuries to one individual inside the vehicle. No fatalities have been reported. The incident adds to the 431 traffic occurrences documented in this neighborhood over the past year.
