A traffic incident involving two passenger vehicles was reported at 4:21 AM on August 12, 2024, at the intersection of W Alameda Ave and S Sheridan Blvd in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which occurred under dark, lighted conditions, involved an eastbound vehicle making a left turn and colliding front-to-side with a northbound vehicle going straight. Despite the collision and the driver of the eastbound vehicle being cited for careless driving, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks one of the numerous incidents in the Westwood neighborhood, totaling 300 over the past year.
