Early Morning Collision in Gateway-Green Valley Ranch Results in Serious Injury

DENVER, CO 3/2/2025. On March 2, 2025, at 3:48 AM Mountain Time, a serious traffic incident was reported at the intersection of E Maxwell Pl and N Dunkirk St in the Gateway-Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling south collided front-to-side with a non-school bus heading east. The collision occurred on the roadway, approximately 0.4 miles southeast of the intersection of E 56th Ave and Pena Blvd. The driver of the passenger car was noted for careless driving, contributing to the incident due to a failure to see. The commercial bus involved had nine or more occupants at the time, with one serious injury resulting from the crash. Despite the severity, no fatalities were reported during this unfortunate early morning accident.
