Early Morning Collision on W Jewell Ave Injures One in Harvey Park

DENVER, CO 4/10/2025. A traffic incident was reported on April 10, 2025, at 4:54 AM involving a serious injury near the intersection of W Jewell Ave and S Hazel Ct in the Harvey Park neighborhood of Denver. The crash occurred approximately 0.1 miles west of the junction. A pickup truck and an SUV traveling in opposite directions collided head-on. The pickup truck, driven recklessly due to age or driver ability, went out of control while heading west, leading to the accident with an eastbound SUV. One individual from the pickup truck sustained serious injuries. No fatalities were reported in this non-intersection roadway crash. This incident marks one of 193 reported in the Harvey Park area over the past year.
