Evening Crash on I-225 Ramp in Hampden South Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 12/8/2025. On December 8, 2025, at 8:38 PM, a traffic incident involving two SUVs was reported on the southbound ramp of I-225, approximately a quarter-mile east of the I-25 interchange in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. The collision involved a front-to-rear impact followed by a rollover, resulting in one serious injury. Both vehicles were traveling southwest and were reportedly going straight at the time of the crash. Despite the right conditions being dark but well-lit, reckless driving was noted as a factor for one of the drivers. No fatalities were recorded in this tragic incident.
