Four Seriously Injured in Car Collision at Colfax and Speer Intersection

DENVER, CO 2/7/2025. A serious traffic incident was reported at 10:41 PM on February 7, 2025, at the intersection of W Colfax Ave and N Speer Blvd in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the roadway, with one vehicle traveling west and the other south, resulting in a ‘front to side’ impact. Four occupants from the passenger cars were seriously injured, although no fatalities were reported. The incident happened in dark but lighted conditions, with the driver of one vehicle cited for careless driving. This accident adds to the total of 552 other incidents reported in the area since February 8, 2024.
