Hit-and-Run Incident Involving Pedestrian Reported in Denver’s Athmar Park

DENVER, CO. 5/4/2025 On May 4, 2025, at approximately 9:40 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at 2748 W Alameda Ave, Denver, in the Athmar Park neighborhood. The accident occurred on the roadway, described as driveway access-related, approximately a quarter-mile west of the S Federal Blvd and W Alameda Ave intersection. Involving a passenger car/van entering the traffic way from a merger without any contributing action from the driver, the collision resulted in no serious injuries or fatalities. The involved vehicle fled the scene in a hit-and-run, leaving authorities to investigate further. This report adds to the 178 traffic-related incidents in the area over the past year.
